Definitions.

‘Driver / Chauffeur’ shall mean the driver of the Vehicle
‘The Company’ shall mean Barlow Executive Travel
‘Client’ is deemed to be the person who has organized the Hire and is responsible for the payment of the Hire
‘Booking’ shall mean a period for which the Client has committed to the Hire
‘Vehicle’ shall mean any car/van/coach supplied by Barlow Executive Travel to the Client
‘Hire’ shall mean the contract for the Hire of a Vehicle

Luggage Allowance.

Barlow Executive Travel will transport what is deemed to be a reasonable amount of luggage. This constitutes at most, 4 large and two medium suitcases with additional hand luggage. If however, in the judgement of the driver / chauffeur, the volume of weight exceeds the vehicles capacity, the company reserves the right to refuse the carriage of the excess luggage.

The Hire Price.

We guarantee the cost of vehicle hire providing that the original itinerary at the time of booking has not been amended. We will supply the services specified in the Confirmation of Booking sent to you prior to the journey commencing.

Insurance.

We are insured for passenger travel. This insurance is for public liability and does not constitute travel insurance. We do not accept responsibility for

  • Delays caused by adverse weather conditions
  • Any delays caused by strike action. Acts of god or conflict or war or Force Majeure. Traffic jams, breakdowns and flight delays
  • Any theft or damage to properties of the signatory of the contract or any other person travelling within the contract, except where such theft or damage is caused by a direct action of Barlow Executive Travel employees
  • Missed flights due to insufficient travelling time being allowed by client

Drunken or Disorderly Behaviour.

We reserve the right to refuse travel to anyone deemed to be a nuisance or danger to our passengers or chauffeurs / drivers. We may seek the help of the police to remove any offenders from our vehicles and will not pay compensation or refund in such circumstances.

Damage to Vehicle.

Barlow Executive Travel will hold any client or clients responsible if they cause damage or soil the vehicle. Such clients will be responsible for the cost to repair/valet the vehicle. Should the action result in lost bookings then the client shall also be liable.

Illegal material.

The carrying or use of any illegal drugs in our vehicles is totally forbidden. You must also inform us about any registered weapon you wish to carry with you at the time of booking.

Smoking & Eating.

We observe a non-smoking policy and request passengers also refrain from eating whilst in all our vehicles. Should passengers wish either to smoke or eat, then they can ask the driver whether they will stop at the roadside / service station to permit this action. This is at the chauffeurs / drivers discretion though.

Complaints.

In the highly unlikely event you are unhappy with the service, you should, in the first instance, pass your concerns immediately to the driver who will try to rectify the issue. If this matter still isn’t resolved to your satisfaction, please contact us as soon as possible. We will endeavour to correct it.

Cancellation.

Cancellation with less than 24 hours notice will result in full charges being payable.
